Redskins kicker Kai Forbath, who was limited in practice on Thursday with a groin muscle strain, was on the field for practice Friday.
Like many other players on the bubble, kicker Kai Forbath wasn’t sure what to expect Saturday.
“I didn’t [know] until I walked in the door,” he said. “They let me down the stairs.”
Kai Forbath has survived the challenge. The Redskins have waived Zach Hocker and Forbath will retain his job as the Redskins’ kicker, at least for now.
With about five hours remaining before NFL teams must submit their 53-man rosters to the NFL, the Redskins are close to being done—for now, at least—after a big round of cuts Saturday morning.
