Miami Marlins

Just days away from pitchers and catchers reporting, the Marlins are still looking to upgrade their roster and, according to a new report, have reached out to a five-time All-Star.

Former Nats pitcher Dan Haren has been involved in an interesting saga down in Miami with the Marlins ever since he was traded there from the Los Angeles Dodgers back in December.

With Max Scherzer off the market, much of the attention this baseball offseason has shifted towards James Shields, the best remaining starter out there.

2014 record: 77-85, 4th place in NL East

Manager: Mike Redmond, 3rd year

Estimated 2015 payroll: $68.3 million

The Marlins formally introduced their newest acquisition, future Hall of Famer Ichiro Suzuki, in a press conference on Wednesday, though it took place very far away from Miami.
