Tracy Porter

Tight end Jordan Reed, cornerback Tracy Porter and linebacker Akeem Jordan will be listed as out for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars, according to Redskins Coach Jay Gruden.

Redskins tight end Jordan Reed has a “moderate” hamstring pull and will be evaluated on a “week-to-week” basis, according to Coach Jay Gruden.

Tracy Porter was signed in March to be the Redskins’ nickel cornerback.

He’ll likely open the season on the sidelines in Houston, beset by a nagging hamstring injury.

After being limited in practice earlier this week, Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo appeared to be doing more and moving smoothly during the portion of Friday’s session that was open to reporters.

When the Redskins gave Tracy Porter a $2 million signing bonus the idea was the former Super Bowl winning cornerback could give Washington a steady presence playing nickel coverage.
