Wizards

After playing by Klay Thompson of Golden State, Brock Motum broke out in his last two seasons to average better than 18 points and is hoping to make the NBA.
The Wizards will get at least five games of action in Las Vegas, and they also will face the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets in the preliminary round.

Bradley Beal scored a career-high 26 points and John Wall posted a double-double, but the backcourt pair also missed late-game chances in the Wizards 95-94 loss at Sacramento.

Bradley Beal missed a runner in the closing seconds, John Wall followed with a desperation shot from inside the foul lane that never hit the rim, and the Wizards fall the Kings late 95-94.

Not long ago DeMarcus Cousins appeared ready for a new scene. Lately, the third-year center has been playing like an All-Star. Cousins and the Kings play the Wizards tonight at 10 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet.

Even with the return of John Wall and A.J. Price, Garrett Temple's varied skill set gives him a shot at minutes in the Wizards' backcourt.
