Before Kevin Seraphin agreed to sign a $3.89 million qualifying offer from the Wizards, he had a minor procedure to clean out his troublesome right knee.
NBA teams often draft players with the intention of stashing them elsewhere. Perhaps even the D-League. The Thunder and first round pick Josh Huestis might be changing the model.
Al Harrington has to put himself through rigorous workouts to determine if he'll be able to play for the Wizards, who have one roster spot left, for his 17th season.
