As a two-time All-Star, Nationals' starter Gio Gonzalez is one of the best young left-handed pitchers in the game of baseball. His talents on the field are obvious, but off the field? Well, music may not be his strong suit.

NBC Sports uncovered a video from Gonzalez' days with the Oakland Athletics that shows the Nats' star rapping as part of a promotion for a parenting website. The segment is part of "On the Fly with Nadia," a comedy series with actress Nadia Dajani.

Gio participated along with other MLB pitchers including LaTroy Hawkins and John Axford and compared to his peers, Gonzalez isn't that bad. That's not to say he is good at it by any means, but the competition isn't exactly top notch.

Check it out for yourself:

If Gonzalez did become a rapper, his name would have to be Nat Gio right? Either that or G-Money.
