Theoretically, at least, the Wizards' task for Wednesday night's game vs. the Boston Celtics at Verizon Center became a lot more winnable when it was announced that Trevor Booker would be returning after a one-game absence and Rajon Rondo would sit out.

Booker, usually the first post player off the bench for Washington, sprained his left ankle in Saturday's loss to the Detroit Pistons.

Rondo, who recently returned from anterior cruciate ligament surgery to his right knee, played in Tuesday's loss to the Miami Heat when he went 0-for-8. He already has been playing with minute restrictions for Boston.

Phil Pressey, an undrafted rookie who averages 1.6 points and 2.5 assists, will start opposite Wizards point guard John Wall. Gerald Wallace, a career forward, takes the spot of Avery Bradley at shooting guard. Bradley went down with a sprained right ankle against Miami. Reserve guard Jerryd Bayless already was out with a left toe injury.
