D.C. United will be without the services of midfielder Nick DeLeon for the next six weeks, as tests Monday and Tuesday confirmed that DeLeon has suffered a grade-two hamstring strain.
The injury occurred during Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Columbus Crew at RFK Stadium. DeLeon, a finalist for the 2012 MLS Rookie of the Year award, pulled up lame in the 31st minute of action.
According to the D.C. United team page, the injury is not as serious as originally feared.
United returns to action April 5th at Sporting KC .
