Rising morning tides last week made fishing very difficult. Falling morning tides this week will ease the dog days of August.
Tides will be low in the morning, high midday and falling later in the day. Fish are on drops in water 6 to 10 feet deep. Watch water temps, moving shallower when it gets over 45!
The best news for fishing this week are the favorable mid day to early afternoon low tides, during the warmest part of the day. Find drops close to the bank, in out of the current areas.
Water will be cooler 45 in the morning, warming a few degrees in the afternoon. NBC Ch. 4 meteorologist "Weather Kim" Martucci says.
