Teammates and coach give props to Alyssa Thomas-3/4

The quarterfinal round of the ACC women’s basketball tournament will be airing all day today on CSN and CSN+. Here’s a look at the lineup:

Game 1: Miami vs No. 23 Florida State (11 a.m., CSN)

The in-state rivals are meeting for the third time this season, with the first two contests going to FSU by an average margin of 18 points.

Game 2: NC State vs No. 6 Duke (2 p.m., CSN)

Powerhouse Duke boasts a pair of conference honorees in co-player of the year Chelsea Gray and co-coach of the year Joanne McCallie. NC State will look to pull off the upset behind leading scorer Kody Burke.

Game 3: Wake Forest vs No. 10 Maryland (6 p.m., CSN+)

Maryland junior Alyssa Thomas, the 2013 ACC Player of the Year, leads the conference in rebounding (10.3/game) and is third in scoring, with 17.7 points per game.  Wake Forest, meanwhile, is fresh off a surprising opening-round romp over Georgia Tech.

Game 4: Boston College vs No. 15 North Carolina (8 p.m., CSN+)

Fresh off a first-round bye, the Lady Tar Heels will try to take care of business against Boston College with an eye on avenging a pair of losses to rival Duke. BC, meanwhile, will try to keep the magic alive a day after shocking sixth-seeded UVa.
