The Chicago Bears have decided to go with a DMV local, selecting Virginia Tech cornerback Kyle Fuller 14th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Baltimore-native is coming off a senior campaign in which he notched 24 tackles, two interceptions, and 10 pass breakups on the way to first-team All-ACC honors. His season ended prematurely due to sports hernia surgery, something that clearly wasn't enough to dissuade Chicago from drafting him with their top selection despite the fact that he missed the Senior Bowl.

Lauded for being a physical force in the secondary, paired with the fact that the Bears defense struggled to cover the pass in 2013, it's expected that Fuller will make an immediate impact as he'll compete for a starting job alongside veteran corner Charles Tillman.
