Your Wednesday morning open thread:

Since we had such a good discussion Monday about the Redskins’ 2011 draft class, I figured we should also hit the 2012 class.

A player’s second season in the NFL can be a tough one. Those who played significant minutes as a rookie are no longer an unknown quantity to opposing teams. Expectations rise, both internally and externally. And slow starts often snowball into sophomore slumps.

With all that in mind, let’s take a look at last year’s draftees.

  • QB Robert Griffin III
  • OL Josh LeRibeus
  • QB Kirk Cousins
  • LB Keenan Robinson
  • OL Adam Gettis
  • RB Alfred Morris
  • OL Tom Compton
  • CB/PR Richard Crawford
  • S Jordan Bernstine

Who do you want to see take a step forward? Who do you suspect might struggle?

I’m interested to see what kind of numbers Griffin and Morris are able to achieve now that defensive coordinators have had an entire year to study the Redskins’ read-option offense.

I also expect to see Robinson and Crawford establish themselves as productive NFL players.

What about you?
