Redskins tight end Jordan Reed was held out of practice on Wednesday, the team’s first day of preparation for this Sunday’s game against the Raiders. The rookie tight end suffered a thigh contusion during the Lions game.

Also out was kicker Kai Forbath, who has been out for two games with a groin injury. He said today that he plans on kicking later this week to see if he has recovered sufficiently to play.

Fred Davis was inactive with an ankle injury for the Detroit game and he was limited on practice today.

The good injury news comes from Ryan Kerrigan. He was concerned about a knee injury he suffered on Sunday but he said he felt good today and he was a full participant in practice.
