Ever since Robert Griffin III crumpled to a heap late in a playoff loss against the Seattle Seahawks, much of the discussion surrounding the Washington Redskins has centered on if coach Mike Shanahan should have allowed Griffin to play.
Earlier in the Seahawks loss, it appeared Griffin re-injured his knee, a knee that had been damaged a few weeks prior in a win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Both player and coach addressed any miscommunication that may have occurred that January night, as well as their conversations since the injury.
Shanahan explained that his mindset during that game was to get as much information as possible, and to go with the team's decision.
It seemed both men want to move forward from the injury conversation. Leaving the field, Griffin uttered the single word "deuces" and flashed his trademark smile.
