Jay Beagle did not practice with the Capitals on Friday at Kettler Capitals Iceplex, further darkening his chances of playing in Game 7 Saturday night in New Yorks Madison Square Garden.

Beagle blocked a shot by Rangers defenseman Anton Stralman in the second period of Game 5 in New York on Monday and sat out Wednesday nights Game 6 at the Verizon Center.

With Beagle sidelined, Matt Hendricks remained as the center on a checking line with wingers Joel Ward and Troy Brouwer.

The Capitals fourth line again had Jeff Halpern centering Keith Aucoin and Mike Knuble.
The other line combinations remained the same, with Brooks Laich between Alex Ovechkin and Marcus Johansson; and Nicklas Backstrom between Jason Chimera and Alexander Semin.

The Caps defense pairings also remain the same with Karl Alzner and John Carlson; Roman Hamrlik and Mike Green; and Jeff Schultz and Dennis Wideman.
